It's funny how sometimes you just get so busy, doing the things that you feel you have to, that you cannot find time or inspiration, to do the things you love.
I just travelled to Auckland to drop my daughter with her grandparents, as they are taking her to Oz. Blessed kid! Anyhow, sitting in traffic in the middle of the rat race was a bit surreal, as I used to live there, and have no intention of moving back, but I felt sympathy for all those souls, stuck in the other tin cans.
In other news, as you probably already know, Ubuntu has gone to version 7.04 Feisty. Congratulations, guys! But I can wait a bit before installing. I've learnt the hard way; if it's not broke, don't fix it! I spend too much unproductive time repairing systems that I've been fiddling with on Linux, "just to see what that will do..."
In other matters, I am trying to get Wine to run Dreamweaver MX for me again (tried ages ago, it didn't want to play happily.) It's the only Windows app I wish had a port to Linux.
Two of my clients in the last week have complained about Office 2007, and it's "ease of use". It isn't for them. Go Mikeysoft! More anitcs like this will mean less reason for the general populace to stick with your software.
