MS does it again

by cw Email

In the usual vein of remarkable arrogance and lake of care for their customers, Microsoft Inc, the world's largest pack of idiots, has just decided," to hell with all those freeloaders on Hotmail. We are going to make them do our thing, our way.! "

That's right they are changing the terms of connection to Hotmail. They are making it impossible for any email client that uses POP3/Imap to connect to Hotmail. That includes their very own wonder applications ( u wonder y u bother); Outlook Express and MS Outlook.

You have to use MSN Live. Or, you can use MSN Live, or if you choose, MSN Live. And oh, by the way, you will need MSN Live. So anybody who happens to run something other than XP or Vista is also left out, as MSN Live only runs on these. Shouldn't this result in another antitrust lawsuit?

Not that I give a pile of wombat dung, it's actually hilarious; but where do these guys get off on treating their customers like that? And the poor schmuck customers just keep toeing the line, doing what they are told. After all, MS has never let us down, right? ROFL

So look, dear reader, why would you put up with this? There are better alternatives for your email online including Gmail and Yahoo Mail. And whilst you are at it, how about changing your operating system to something more reliable, friendly, and cheaper? Tomorrow Ubuntu 8.04 Hardy Heron goes on sale, for the grand price of $0.00. Other versions of Linux can also be investigated at sites like this at Distrowatch.
